Many of us dream of stumbling on a priceless relic. But what if it was the missing master tape for Iggy and the Stooges’ classic “Raw Power”…and it’d been hanging out in your attic the whole time?
You're dead-on about Ron being a tragic figure in the tale. I generally prefer his lead guitar playing to Williamson's, anyway — but another reason I prefer the first two Stooges albums to Raw Power is because he got so screwed over with this album.
That Stooges doc that Jarmusch did, while great, kind of paints Ron’s participation in Raw Power in a different light. It seems to look at that whole situation with rose colored glasses.

Sigh. I wish I could disagree, but there's just no way. There is a sweet ending in Part II though....

Appreciate that! And yeah: Makes me wonder what loyalties / pressures were at work behind the scenes of the film.....
Cliffhanger! Can’t wait for part two
Ha! Thank you Paul....
